Is a trial necessary?

To make sure and to be best satisfied with the look on your wedding day, we strongly recommend that you arrange for a trial. By having a trial before your wedding, you will definitely have a better idea of the look you like to be for your wedding day. A trial is a time to try out your desired wedding look and see how it holds up for the day or if there are needs for any adjustments to be made. It will make you a lot more comfortable and avoid from stress with allowing you to relax and enjoy your time with friends and family.

When should I book my trial?

We recommend your trial to be booked approximately 5-8 weeks prior to your wedding. If you have a problem with your hair or skin, we recommend to have a trial sooner so that we are able to make a plan for hair and skin to be in good condition for your wedding. All trials take place at our studio unless you need to have it on the location of your choice (charge applies). You should book a trial for makeup and hair on the quality of their portfolio and meet for a trial closer to your wedding day.

Can I have more than one style done on my trial?

We can try out up to 3 styles of hair and makeup during trial session depending on the time allowed. Especially if you need to change your hair and/or makeup on your wedding day, we recommend to try other style(s) so that you know exactly how each style look like. For prices of additional styles, please contact us.

What does the trial session include?

The trial will begin with a 10-15 minute consultation, We ask you to collect and bring some photos of your desired style of makeup, hair, dress and accessories to trial session unless you have already sent through to her earlier via email (you are more advised those images to be sent to us prior to the trial). We can discuss the most suitable look including your colour preference and your likes & dislikes of certain styles. Once consultation is done and makeup is applied and hair is styled, she can try out jewelries, veil, tiara, and other accessories if you bring along to finalise the look.

How long does a trial session last?

Please allow at least 3 hours including consultation. If hair and/or makeup changes need to be made, additional time may be required.

Is there anything you need for set up at the location on the day of wedding?

Somewhere near natural light is always best. The room also has to have outlets and/or an extension cord to plug styling appliances into if doing hair. A table and chairs are also required for set up. For makeup, a higher style chair or bar stool is nice if available but not necessary. For hair, a regular chair is fine, preferably one with a lower back. We also need a large mirror to do hair in front of.
